Our Tenafly School is located at the "Presbyterian Church
at Tenafly". We occupy the ground floor, and the site includes five beautiful classrooms, a lovely indoor play
area/music room, an outdoor safe permanent grass playground, and a large lot playground with a sand box, pull wagons
and bicycles .
INFANTS:
We are happy to accept infants from 2 months to 14 months in our "Infant Classroom", beautifully decorated
as a garden.
WOBBLERS: 14
months to 24 months. This classroom has jungle animals painted on the walls. A small gym, cozy corners, and lots of books
make this room perfect for this age group.
Our ratio for the above groups is 3 to 1
This age group goes daily for neighborhood walks in our special infant/toddler
strollers.
TINY TOTS:
Our "Farm Classroom" is full of farm animal decorations and our two year olds enjoy looking at them and
singing with gusto "Old McDonald had a farm".
THE THREE year olds: They are the most active group in our school
and love playing outdoors after finishing all their classroom activities.
THE FOUR year olds
are known as the Pre-K classroom. The classroom activities prepare the children for academic and social success in
kindergarten.
